Old World News was originally created in 2014 as an interactive installation, where viewers were invited to drink from the functional, hand painted cups. The piece reflects on how world news is consumed through digital media as both ritual and spectacle.

A selection of sculptures from the original installation were exhibited in the 2018 Summer Swan Invitational exhibition at the Swan Coach House Gallery in Atlanta, Georgia, alongside work by leading artists working in ceramics.
